Designed for high-throughput analytical screening, the Mini-BeadBeater 96, efficiently and safely disrupts samples of spores, microorganisms, plant and animal tissue or soils samples at one time. Once samples are loaded with beads and unit is turned on, they are violently shaken for up to 5 minutes - and disruption of over 95% is quickly achieved.

The use of disposable screw cap micro-tubes and beads provides a sealed system that eliminates the possibility of sample cross contamination. Ideal unit for use with PAGE, PCR and probe applications. Compatible with phenol, GuSCN and purification solutions; RNA/DNA is quickly recovered with the highest possible yield since cell disruption and nucleic acid extraction is performed simultaneously. Digital controller offers timing cycles from 0-5 minutes and RPM control from 1400-2400 rpm allows intense and quick disruption speed when required. Controller provides three presets that allow convenient time/speed combinations for easy retrieval.Mini-Bead Beaters provide many years of trouble free performance with virtually maintenance free operation.
